Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Design and Engineering:

• Develop electrical designs and engineering plans for pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and client specifications in electrical designs.
• Create specifications and technical drawings for electrical components and systems.

2. Project Management:

• Oversee the execution of electrical aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines, and proactively address any electrical engineering-related challenges.

3. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct quality checks to ensure that all electrical components and systems meet the required standards and specifications.
• Implement quality control measures and best practices to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical installations.

4. Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on electrical engineering matters.
• Conduct technical reviews, analysis, and troubleshooting to resolve complex electrical issues.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective integration of electrical systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to address electrical-related inquiries and provide clarifications.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Up To 10 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on pumping stations (all types, including sewage, irrigation water, drinking water, etc.) and wastewater treatment plants for large-scale government and private infrastructure projects.
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is required, and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in electrical design principles, components, and systems relevant to pumping stations and wastewater treatment plants.
• Familiarity with local codes and regulations governing electrical engineering in the UAE (e.g. ADSSC, DEWA, SEWA etc; preferably to be approved by these authorities).
• Proficiency in engineering software relevant to electrical design and analysis.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices related to electrical engineering in environmental infrastructure projects.
